    HG Eye Makeup Remover!

    Hi ladies!
I really suck at blogging don't I? I apologize for the lack of posts, but it's for a good reason(s).

    1. We found the townhouse we love! My fiance and I have been searching and we found the ONE. It was the strangest feeling. I walked in and I saw myself calling it "home." We are seeing a few more next weekend just to make sure, but they're all in the same community. They are gorgeous and I'm in love.

    2. I'm on vacation! =] I'm on a 10-day getaway to Florida. It's beautiful and relaxing but a tad bit humid!

    3. I've been working like CRAZY. I need to save up for rent, which I'm totally willing to do!

    ANYWAYS
I'm glad to be back on blogger and catching up on a whole lot of info I missed. I haven't gotten anything from the last 2 MAC collections so I have nothing to post. I had a large Forever 21 haul for the summer. I always buy clothes in June for my summer wardrobe -- it's a materialistic tradition I guess! =]

    PRODUCTS OF THE WEEK
-Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation (#3 - Beige)
    -Bobbi Brown Corrector (Bisque)
    -MAC Prep&Prime (Eye)
    -Nars Madly blush
    -St. Ives Invigorating Scrub (♥)

HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT YOU NEED TO BUY
You know in your collection there's always a product you run back to. You buy everything similar, but never come close. Someone blogs about something better, and you buy it, and you are immediately filled with regret? Well I feel the need to share one product that I will never ever stop using. If there was something beyond HG, this would be it.

    LANCOME BIFACIL
It's not cheap, but it's worth every single penny. It is the single best eye makeup remover I have ever used. I've used it for about 7 years, and it's the only eye makeup remover that has never let me down. I have ventured to other products, but nothing compares. It doesn't burn, it doesn't irritate, and best of all -- it takes EVERYTHING off. You know sometimes you need to rub your eye so hard that it feels like your eyelashes have fallen off or you've given yourself premature wrinkles from tugging so hard? Not with this! So if you're in the market for a new makeup remover, I suggest this one. I don't know if they give samples, but if they do, ask for one. Let me know if you love/hate this product. What's your favorite eye makeup remover?!

Comment on the following MAC Products; Have you used them? If so, give feedback!

    PREP&PRIME SKIN:
Yes! LOVE all the P&P products!

    FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION:
    No

    STUDIO SCULPT FOUNDATION:
LOVE this now that I figured out the perfect amount to use.
I mean really a dime-size drop is enough.
Too much and it's cakey and horrible!

    FACE AND BODY FOUNDATION:
I really like this for summer. I won't say it's LOVE, but it's like a better tinted moisturizer. I haven't used this a ton because I've broken out lately and need extra coverage. But once I'm clear, I think I'll be using it a lot!

    MINERALIZE SATIN FINISH:
    Nope, never.

    STUDIO FIX FLUID:
Love this stuff! Best coverage, but it can be heavy!
I think it might be the reason for my couple of current zits though. =/

    HYPER REAL FOUNDATION:
    Nope, never.

    SELECT SPF15 FOUNDATION:
    Nope, never.
    But my mom loves this!

    STUDIO TECH FOUNDATION:
    Nope, never.

    STUDIO FIX POWDER:
This was love at first use! Best coverage from a powder. Definitely needs a dabbing of Fix+ though to make it look more natural.

    STUDIO STICK:
    Nope, never.
But really want to get this as concealer!

    HYPER REAL PRESSED FOUNDATION:
    Nope, never.

    BEAUTY POWDER:
    Definitely not
They're way too sheer and do nothing for me!

    SCULPTING POWDER:
I have a Sculpt&Shape powder that I like. I usually whip it out for vacations because it's easy!

    SHAPING POWDER
    Same as above!

    LOOSE BLOT POWDER:
    Nope, never.
But I want to try this!

    PRESSED BLOT POWDER:
Yes, in Medium Dark. This is a summer necessity! If this ever gets discontinued, I will personally slap the person who made the decision!

    MINERALIZE SKINFINISH NATURAL:
Love this stuff too! It's the perfect powder for a light makeup day or to put over your liquid for a finished look. I use my 187 to put this on after liquid, then dab some Fix+. My favorite thing to do!

    MAC MINERALIZE SKINFINISH:
I have Petticoat, Refined, and Soft&Gentle. Love them all!

    BRONZING POWDER:
    I have two:
Golden, which I really don't like.
Solar Riche, which I really love!

    POWDER BLUSH:
Oh too many to count! I love their blush, however, I feel like sometimes it doesn't last on me.

    BLUSHCREMES:
    Nope, never.
These scare me a little, but I want to try them lol

    MINERALIZE BLUSH:
Yes, love them!!! They are better than the regular blushes!

    GEL BLUSH:
    Nope, never.

    CREAM COLOR BASE:
Have a few (Shell. Hush. Luna) but I always forget to use them! They work well as highlighters and eyeshadow bases though! Probably a good thing to have just in case because they're so versatile.

    STUDIO SCULPT CONCEALER:
    Have it, hate it!

    SELECT COVER UP CONCEALER:
    Nope, never.

    SELECT MOISTURECOVER CONCEALER:
I have this for under my eyes! It really lightens up my under eye for the days when I need an extra boost. I've had quite a few 5-hours-or-less-of-sleep nights.

    STUDIO FINISH CONCEALER:
I absolutely love this in NC15 to cover up my blemishes!

    STUDIO STICK CONCEALER:
    Nope, never.

    LIP ERASE:
No, but I really want this stuff.
Though the MUA told me to just use normal concealer and it'll do the same thing.

    TINTED LIP CONDITIONER:
    Pink Fish -- love.
    Petting Pink -- love.
    Popster -- hate (the color).

    LIPSTICK:
LOVE their lipsticks. Their colors are just gorgeous, how could anyone resist? The Cremesheens are the best consistency!

    LIPGLASS:
Pretty colors, but stickier than any other lipgloss I own so I tend to avoid them. Again, I love the Cremesheen ones!

    SEE THRU LIP COLOR:
    Nope, never.

    DAZZLEGLASS:
I absolutely adore these!! So glad they're permanent.
Sugarrimmed and Baby Sparks are my favorites!

    CREMESHEEN GLASS:
We all know I already love these!

    LIP GELEE:
    Yuck. Hate them!

    LIP PENCIL:
I have Subculture, but never use it! I should though -- it's so pretty for a nude lip!

    SOLAR BITS:
I have Impassioned. It's like Satin Taupe but more pigmented. I haven't had the chance to try it yet as I just got it, but I love the color. The mess I can deal with.

    NAIL LACQUER:
    Adore Peppermint Patti!
I always get so many compliments on it!

    SHADESTICK:
Have a few and like them when I remember to use them.
Prefer paint pots or just a primer!
I like to bring these when I travel though because they're skinny!

    PAINT:
I love these and I have quite a few. But I always get too much product from the tube!

    PAINT POTS:
Adore them. If I could afford every single color, I would buy them.
Painterly is my favorite base. Constructivist is really pretty too!

    EYESHADOW:
    It's love. Period!

    PIGMENT:
I love them, but I always forget them! I should stop buying them and just buy samples! I'll probably have them till I'm 80! lol

    GLITTER:
    Nope, never.

    EYE KOHL:
I love Phone Number, but Fascinating wasn't as amazing as everyone said.

    CHROMALINE:
    Nope, never.

    FLUIDLINE:
    My favorite! Dipdown and Blacktrack!
I love how they keep their consistency and don't dry out!

    LIQUIDLAST LINER:
This stuff is awesome. It doesn't budge!!! It's incredible!

    LUSTRE DROPS:
    Nope, never.

    FALSE LASHES:
Have them! Never wear them. I have really long lashes naturally.
I'm putting them on for my 21st birthday though!

    MASCARA:
    Plush Lash all the way!

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE MAC COLLECTION TO DATE:
I don't know. I've been kinda disappointed by recent collections.
I'm SUPER excited for Colour Craft though!!
    MINERALIZE ♥

WHICH MAC COLLECTION, IN YOUR OPION, DO YOU THINK WAS DISAPPOINTING, IF ANY?
    Hello Kitty. Chill. Dame Edna.
I feel like I wasn't into MAC when the most awesome collections came out.
    Thank God of CCO's =]

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU THINK MAC ARE MISSING?
Hmm...I don't know. I feel like a lot of things they release are just repeats. I would love if they branched out a bit and just blew everyone away with a MUST-HAVE product. Just something really different.

    I TAG:
Anyone with the patience and time to do this =]
This was so long. If you honestly wanna do it, go for it! Just say I tagged you!

    What's Your Summer Routine??

    Hi girls!
Sorry I've been away -- we're condo hunting
and my house is being remodeled.
It's a COMPLETE mess right now.
    But I'm still here!

    I'll update you on
    THINGS I'M LOVING RIGHT NOW
-Smudged grey eyeliner on top lid
-Covergirl Lashblast (I see why everyone loves this now!)
    -MAC Eversun BPB
    -MAC Solar Riche Bronzer
    - MAC Face and Body Foundation
-MAC Hue Lipstick + Nars Greek Holiday lipgloss
    -GHD Fat Hair Lotion
-Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy perfume
-YSL's Bronzer (Summer collection) - LOVE THIS!

    SUMMER ROUTINE
In the summer, I just don't like to wear as much makeup. I go for some smudged eyeliner and a bright lip along with some really light foundation set with blot powder. Is anyone else lightening up on the makeup because of the heat? I haven't even used eyeshadow in about 3 weeks! I just haven't bothered because I know it's gonna feel heavy later! My summer faves thus far are:

    -Smashbox Photofinish Light Primer
-MAC Face and Body Foundation or LM Tinted Moisturizer
    -Blot Powder or MAC MSF
    -MAC Fix+
    -YSL Bronzer (or any bronzer)
-MAC Prep & Prime Setting Powder
-MAC Phone Number eyeliner smudged on top lip
-ELDouble Wear Eyeliner (Onyx) in waterline set with Carbon
    -Covergirl Lashblast
-Tendertones/lip balms OR a bright lip

    What are your summer faves?

MAC Prep & Prime Finishing Powder Review

    Hi girls!
I'm reviewing the MAC Prep & Prime Finishing Powder (requested by Happy1234!)
If she didn't request it, I would have any way because...
    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!
Here's the positives and the negatives:

    +POSITIVES+
+It stops me from being shiny longer than any other powder.
+It really sets my makeup and doesn't add color.
+It is now my HG finishing powder.
+It is so much better than the MUFE HD Powder in my opinion.
+Works really well at stopping oil along with MAC SFF and MUFE Mat Velvet foundations.
+I think this is a must have for the summer!

    -NEGATIVES-
-It's really messy, but that's it! I can deal with this lol

I would say if you want to invest in a finishing powder, it would be this one. I don't have extremely oily skin, only an oily t-zone, especially in the summer. I don't know how well this would work on someone with really oily skin, but the good thing about MAC is that if you don't like it after a couple uses, you can always return it!

Yesterday, I went to the bank (and my bank is always so warm inside). I was wearing my SFF and set my makeup with the finishing powder. Well, I was getting really warm, and you know that feeling where you know you must be so shiny and your makeup is melting? Well that's how I felt. When I left the bank, I went to put some blot powder on my nose, and to my surprise, I HAD NO OIL ANYWHERE. I only had a SLIGHT shine to my nose. It was incredible to me. I mean I thought my makeup looked horrible cause I was so hot, but it was all still intact!
    I'M SOLD!

This is a new staple to my collection. This and blot powder are now my 2 summer must haves! Anything that keeps the oil under control is a must have. I hate when my skin is shiny -- I get so embarrassed!!

Thanks for reading girls! I know I said I would update more, but I feel like I'm running out of things to blog about because I'm trying really hard to save money for my fiance and I to get our apartment! I did do some hauling though yesterday so look out for that! =]
